Learn Colors with a Pony

Do you like ponies? Have you ever rode on one? I bet it’s a lot of fun! What is the color of the ponies you have seen? 

Today we will learn colors with a pony. This tutorial teaches kids about different colors through a pony painted in many beautiful colors. It also teaches kids more facts about ponies.

1. Pencil or pen

3. Colouring supplies

1. Black

The first pony is painted black in color. Some real ponies are black in color. Did you notice that the pony is in a rearing posture? Rearing occurs when a pony uses its hind legs to stand with its fore legs up in the air.

2. Orange

The pony in the image below is painted orange in color. Did you notice that the tail of the pony does not change color? The color of the tail is white and yes, there are white ponies. 

Ponies are not baby horses but a smaller breed of horses.

3. Blue

The pony in the image below is painted blue in color. 

Ponies look very similar to horses except they have much thicker hair and thicker tails. They also have shorter heads and legs compared to horses

4. Pink

The pony in this image is painted pink in color.

Ponies are fun to ride especially on kids’ birthdays.

5. Yellow

The pony in this image is painted yellow in color. I am sure you have never seen a real yellow pony because there are no real yellow ponies.

6. Multicolored

The pony in this image is painted in many colors. Can you identify all the colors on this pony? List them in your notebook. Highlight each color name with the color itself. Ask your friends or family to assist you with the task.

What is your favorite color painted on the pony? Write it down in your notebook. Find all these colors on things around you and point them out to your family and friends until you master the colors.
